Uniform Adjustments from Wednesday 8th July

From Wednesday 8 July until further notice, students may wear the school PE polo shirt instead of their usual shirt and tie. Blazers will not be required.

Students may wear either:

  • Their usual school skirt; or
  • The "loose black unbranded sport shorts" specified in the school's PE uniform polic

Socks and shoes must be completely black as per usual.
Further details can be found here: Uniform

Students should continue to bring their full PE kit for timetabled PE lessons.

Students wishing to wear cycling shorts or compression shorts may do so underneath their school skirt, but these items are not permitted to be worn as a substitute for the approved uniform during the school day.

Necklaces are not permitted so please ensure they are left at home.

Students are welcome to continue wearing their full school uniform if they prefer.

To help students stay safe and comfortable in the warm weather, we also ask the following:

  • Bring a refillable water bottle to school each day.
  • Apply sunscreen before arriving at school and bring additional sunscreen to reapply during the day if desired.
  • Wear a sensible hat when outdoors during break and lunchtime if they choose to do so.
  • Make use of shaded areas during social times where possible.

We will continue to monitor the weather forecast and will communicate any further adjustments if necessary.
