Elderly Friends' Christmas Dinner

DSC02694It was lovely to welcome so many of our elderly friends to our annual Christmas dinner at NMS.  This event is one of the highlights of the school year because the whole school community work together to ensure that our guests have a lovely meal whilst listening to our talented students sing and play Christmas carols.   After the meal a raffle took place and our guests each received a small gift from Father Christmas and his elves and a goody bag.   A huge thank you to all the students and staff involved (too many to mention individually); to all the parents and carers who generously contributed to our 'Cans for Grans' collection; to Federal-Mogul, The Co-op, Tesco and Marple Mobility for their generous donations and to all of our guests for attending.   It was a very busy day, with volunteers and staff picking our guests up from their homes, helping with the cooking and serving, cleaning up afterwards, organising transport, coordinating the music and so much more.  However, a special thank you must go to Mrs Bull for organising the whole event.  It was an amazing day for everyone.
