Coronavirus latest news - 9th March
As a school we continue to promote support initiatives to delay and minimise the spread of Coronavirus. All tutors will be sharing information and advice about this, with a particular stress on thorough and regular handwashing and ensuring students manage coughs and sneezes in a considerate way. The presentation they have seen is available to be viewed on our school website and we would be grateful for parents continuing to echo these messages and practices at home. Similarly, ensuring your child is equipped with their own supply of tissues and hand sanitiser would be a great support.
If you need any further information about the virus, the Department of Education have set up a helpline which is available to answer questions about COVID-19 (Coronavirus) relating to education and children’s social care. Staff, parents and young people can contact this helpline as follows:
- Phone: 0800 046 8687
- Email: DfE.email@example.com
- Opening hours: 8am to 6pm (Monday to Friday)
Please be assured that we are continuing to actively monitor all the updates from Government and Public Health England and will keep you informed of any changes that affect your child's schooling.
