History

History is vital in helping us to understand our world. Key events in the present can only be completely understood if we know their history. History also develops vital literacy skills, requiring students to read sources about the past and to communicate their ideas in writing. History also teaches people to be analytical and organized, because of these key kills it is a well-respected and versatile academic subject; liked by employers because of the organizational, analytical and communication skills and by universities for the same reason. It is also fascinating and exciting and probably the only subject that requires you to learn a little about every other subject.
